Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana - MVPY)

The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Bihar has started online applications for the Chief Minister Old Age Pension Scheme (Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana - MVPY) for all older people above 60 years of age. The state government will give 400 rupees per month as pension allowance to all the old people, who are 60 to 79 years of age, and those who are 80 years of age or above, Rs 500 per month to Bihar Chief Minister old age (old age) pension scheme (Bihar Mukhyamantri Vriddhjan Pension Yojna ). Bihar Corona Support Scheme

Bihar Corona Tatkal Assistance Mobile App has been launched by the Disaster Management Department of Bihar. Instant help people can register online through Android app, after which Nitish government will provide financial assistance of Rs 1,000 to them. Birsa Green Village Scheme

The objective of this scheme is to use more than two lakh acres of unused government wasteland for afforestation. 100 fruit bearing plants will be given to about five lakh families and the responsibility of plantation, maintenance, land work and afforestation work will be with those rural families while the land will be owned by the government.More than five crore fruit bearing plants are expected to be planted in the next few months.With this plan, each family is estimated to receive an annual income of about Rs 50000 from these plants after three years. Odisha government has released the new Odisha Labour Card List 2020-21 at labour.odisha.gov.in. Now people can download the entire Odisha Labour Card List 2020 from the official website. For all those building / construction workers whose name is not present in the list, there is no need to worry. All such labourers can now download Shramik application form for registration of building and other construction workers. Moreover, people can now download Shramik Card Online comprising of all the beneficiary details. The labourers must enroll themselves with Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Several other forms for labourers to apply online such as accident form, death benefit form, major ailments form, funeral expenses form are also present. Odisha govt. is going to start a new Doubling of Farmers Income Scheme 2020. Directorate of Horticulture has initiated the process for introducing this scheme through convergence of agriculture and allied sectors. The Doubling of Farmer’s Income scheme would be implemented as part of the 5T framework. The state govt. has already drawn a road map to achieve the income target by FY 2022-23. As per the official sources, Doubling of Farmers Income Scheme will be implemented in 3 phases. In the first phase, govt. will start this scheme in 10 districts representing 10 Agro-Climatic Zones (ACZs). "to protect elderly persons aged 60 years and above against a future fall in their interest income due to the uncertain market conditions, as also to provide social security during old age, it is decided to launch a simplified scheme of assured pension of 8% called the ‘?????????????????????????’. ‘?????????????????????????’ is being implemented through Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India. As per the scheme, on payment of an initial lump sum amount ranging from a minimum purchase price of Rs. 1, 50,000/- for a minimum pension of Rs 1000/- per month to a maximum purchase price of Rs. 7, 50,000/- for maximum pension of Rs. 5,000/- per month, subscribers will get an assured pension based on a guaranteed rate of return of 8% per annum" Learn More

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana(PMJJBY)

The PMJJBY is available to people in the age group of 18 to 50 years having a bank account who give their consent to join / enable auto-debit. Aadhar would be the primary KYC for the bank account. The life cover of Rs. 2 lakhs shall be for the one year period stretching from 1st June to 31st May and will be renewable. Risk coverage under this scheme is for Rs. 2 Lakh in case of death of the insured, due to any reason. The premium is Rs. 330 per annum which is to be auto-debited in one installment f rom the subscriber's bank account as per the option given by him on or before 31st May of each annual coverage period under the scheme. The scheme is being offered by Life Insurance Corporation and all other life insurers who are willing to offer the product on similar terms with necessary approvals and tie up with banks for this purpose.
